No religious affiliation or experience required. Listen to recorded or live sangha, while practicing silent meditation. Optional: stay for communal meal preparation and sharing. Laaeyiilaa Elizabeth Blackshine trained and practiced for many years with a local Reiki teacher and naturopath, traveled to Japan for training multiple times, and is part of a loving active local Reiki practitioner network. Tallulah’s Wild Playce is a place where all are welcome to learn the richness of world in an intergenerational, mostly outdoor, Afrocentric and Indigenous centric, heart-filled environment. We make a fire together every morning. We make bread, porridge, peanut stew, and jollof rice together every week from garden harvests. We sing and move together around a Fire and Water pit. We are held by the elders, teachers, and Tallulah the land. Come and homeschool with us!!
Ages 0-3 focus on play, songs, flow in rhythms of rest and meaningful activity in the garden and in a geodesic dome, in the round, as nature intended:)
Ages 4-6 continue their play and rhythms enriched with storytelling, doll making, felting, growing food, nature hikes, and Eurythmy/guided movements of the harmonious world.
Ages 7-8 enjoy literacy with games, movement, fun with numbers in the natural world, knitting , ethnobotany, cultivate mindfulness, cultivate a sense of communal responsibility
Ages 9-10 enjoy independent science inquiry and research of the natural world, team projects, advanced languages (Mohican, Yoruba, Choctaw) practice an instrument, singing, and sport/movement
